This workshop is hosted by Australia Counselling member Charlie Stansfield.
Writing about difficult events and experiences can enhance our physical and psychological wellbeing. This five week group will explore the benefits of writing about the difficult stuff through practising a range of evidence-based exercises.
You do not have to consider yourself ‘a writer’ to join this group. Its focus is on writing as healing not writing for publication – although other workshops have indicated that through this method our writing can improve as we find our voice.
Come along to the group for yourself, experience the benefits, learn about the research and then utilise skills in your practice…
The group is facilitated by a qualified mindfulness teacher and ANZAP psychotherapist Cecile Barral, and Charlie Stansfield who is a counsellor, psychotherapist, and freelance writer/journalist.
Australia Counselling recently interviewed Charlie about therapeutic writing. Listen to the interview here.
