Welcome to Blog for World Mental Health Day!

The World Health Organization (WHO) designated October 10 as World Mental Health Day to help raise awareness about the impact of mental illness on our community and the world.

Australia Counselling is excited to support this wonderful cause to spread the word about good mental health throughout the world by inviting mental health bloggers across the world to blog for World Mental Health Day 2015.

How Blog for World Mental Health Day works

On October 10, we’ll be updating our official World Mental Health Day 2015 post here with the latest blogs that are submitted.

Your blog post can be about anything related to mental or emotional health, or its treatment. You can tell your story about how you first learned about your condition, what kinds of challenges you faced to get treatment for it or your experiences of working with people with mental health issues.

The closing date for submissions is 5pm AEST on October 10, 2015.

Tweet us @aucounselling to let us know about your blog entry, or email us a link to your blog post on or before October 10, 2015.

Use the hashtag #wmhd15 or #wmhd on your tweets and remember to follow us on Twitter @aucounselling and Like us on Facebook.

Get your #WMHD15 blogger badge

Please add our “I’m Blogging for World Mental Health Day” badge on your blog to show you’re an advocate for mental health and are proud to spread the word about good mental health.

Choose from one of the images we add below and copy and paste the badge code below the image you want into your post or blog.

Note: If your blog is WordPress, make sure your post is in Text Mode (not Visual Mode) before copying the code into your post, otherwise the code will just show in the body of the post without displaying the image.
